Papayas have always brought me such joy, a simple kind of joy. They’re pretty, yummy, and there’s just something so gratifying about slicing open a perfectly ripe homegrown papaya, its vibrant hues, sweet fragrance, and intricate detail.

While in France last autumn, a wave of homesickness sparked inspiration for this sweet little papaya pendant. Believe it or not, the Leimya Papaya pendant took months to mature, but I was finally able to reach a piece that felt authentic and beautiful.
